There
were once a Fox and a Rabbit who lived in the same wood.
Rabbit lived in a wooden hut and Fox lived in an
icy-hut. Spring had come and Fox's hut was melting .

The Fox asked the Rabbit to warm up in his house and turned him out: "Go while the going is good, Rabbit!" The Rabbit went away and the tears streamed from his eyes. The Dog appeared towards him and asked : "Bow-wow, why are you crying, a little coward?" |

-Ah,
the Fox drove me out from my own hut and now I am a homeless! -answered the Rabbit.
-Come with me and don't be afraid nothing, I help you - said the Dog. |

| They returned to the Rabbit's hut and the Dog snarled - Bow-wow, go away with you, Fox!!! But she replied -Bite your tongue, a Dog. I'll tear you to tatters, if you will disturb me! The Dog got a scare and ran away. The Rabbit went away and cried bitter tears and he met with the Bruin. "Why do you cry, Rabbit?" asked the Bruin. | ||

And the Rabbit told him what was happen with him. "I help you" - said the Bruin. |
They came to the hut and the Bruin roared: Hey, Fox, get out of here! | But she replied -Bite your tongue, a Bruin. I'll tear you to tatters, if you will disturb me! The Bruin feared and ran away. |

| And again the Rabbit went away having achieved nothing. And he met with the Cock. "Why are you looking so sad?"- asked the Cock. And the Rabbit told him what was happen with him. "I help you" -said the Cock. "Unfortunately, it's impossible,- replied the Rabbit, - the Dog and the Bruin tried to help me, but failed. The Fox is a brawler and many others get a scare of her." -I don't be afraid of Fox!- said the Cock. | ||

| -Hey, the Fox, I carry a scythe with me and want to make a chop from you if you don't get out of Rabbit's hut! - exclaimed the Cock | The Fox heard that words and was afraid of that. She was gone in a flash and never return. | And the Rabbit settled down in his hut again and the Cock went to see him. |
